Kansas City native Dr. Anderson completed medical school at Northwestern University and finished his specialty training in Dermatology at the Cleveland Clinic. He returned to Kansas City and joined KMC in 2013. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Anderson covers multiple areas of dermatology across all ages, including the following areas of treatment: Cosmetic Dermatology, Botox Injections, Fillers, Skin Cancer, Psoriasis, Atopic Dermatitis, Acne, Rosacea, and Dermatologic Surgery.

Fun Facts: "I have no real hobbies besides being a dad and gardening. If I am not in the office, you will find me either outside playing with my kids, at one of their games or practices, or working with them in my garden."
Kyle Anderson, MD

James Allen, MD
Leawood, Independence
Dr. Allen is a board-certified dermatologist, practicing since 1982 and joining KMC in 2014. Originally from Kentucky, Dr. Allen completed medical school, his internship, and residency from the University of Louisville after a stint in the US Army. Dr. Allen enjoys mentoring new dermatology PAs and APRNs. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Kansas Medical Society, and Johnson County and Wyandotte County Medical Societies.

Fun Facts: "I have for many years been a "workout" fanatic and have competed in "body building" events for several years. Yes, in my 60's and early 70's!
My wife and I have traveled extensively around the world and will continue to do so. I LOVE being a dermatologist and will continue to work as long as possible."
Courtney Stene, PA
Leawood, Mission
Ms. Stene graduated from Wichita State University in 2016 as a Certified Physician Assistant, during which she completed a rotation with KMC. Following her graduation, she then completed a one-year dermatology fellowship with KMC and is now seeing patients in Leawood and Mission. Ms. Stene has an excellent bedside manner with genuine passion for her patients. You will be sure to enjoy her welcoming smile and exuberance.

Laura Badami, APRN
Leawood, Independence
Ms. Badami is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She attended Saint Luke’s School of Nursing and graduated with honors in 2013. She then worked in neurology, dermatology, nephrology, and rehab as a Registered Nurse. After obtaining her nurse practitioner degree at Maryville University in 2019, she worked in a short stay physical rehab facility. Ms. Badami decided to get back into dermatology and joined KMC where she completed a one-year fellowship. She is now seeing patients in Leawood and Independence.

In her free time, Ms. Badami enjoys spending time with her husband, their 3 dachshunds, and family. She also enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time outdoors. Prior to working in the medical sector, she was an avid ping pong player and was awarded the children’s volunteer of the year award at Rose Brooks Women’s Shelter for her time volunteering. Ms. Badami feels a great honor being able to help care for patients within the dermatology scope of medicine and hopes to provide exceptional patient care.
Jennifer Latimore, APRN
Leawood, Olathe
Ms. Latimore graduated with honors from the University of Kansas with her BSN, Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner degree, and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society. She is FNP certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners (SDNP).
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Ms. Latimore worked as a pediatric nurse at Children’s Mercy Hospital, a pediatric travel nurse in San Diego, CA, and a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse in Overland Park, KS.
Ms. Latimore started as a nurse practitioner in 2009 under the guidance and training of Dr. Joseph Gadzia of KMC Dermatology in Topeka, KS. She then moved to the Overland Park area, furthering her career in urgent care and developing multiple skills before returning to her passion of dermatology.
Ms. Latimore has a very active 10-year-old daughter who enjoys playing with their Cavachon puppy, hiking, biking, cooking, water sports, and going on road trips to the Lake of the Ozarks with her. She also enjoys playing tennis.
